Device check
Will my phone work?
Two requirements. Sixty seconds to check both.
eSIM support
Most phones since 2019. Dial *#06# — an EID number means yes.
Carrier-unlocked
Financed or contract phones are often locked. iPhone: Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock.
That's it
No app, no account, no special plan. Install from Settings in 2 minutes.
The 60-second check
Two requirements: your phone must support eSIM and it must be carrier-unlocked. Here's how to check both in under a minute, plus the full supported-device list.
- 1
The 60-second check: dial *#06#
Open the phone app and dial *#06#. If an EID number (32 digits) appears alongside your IMEI, your phone has eSIM hardware. No EID listed usually means no eSIM support.
- 2
iPhone: Settings check
Settings → General → About — look for an EID entry. Or Settings → Cellular: if you see “Add eSIM” / “Add Cellular Plan”, you're good.
- 3
Android: Settings check
Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs (Pixel) or Settings → Connections → SIM manager (Samsung). If there's an “Add eSIM” / “Download SIM” option, your phone supports it.
- 4
Your phone must be carrier-unlocked
A phone locked to a carrier contract will refuse foreign eSIM profiles. Check: iPhone — Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock should say “No SIM restrictions”. Android — ask your carrier, or try any other SIM.
Supported devices by brand
Not exhaustive — new eSIM phones ship constantly. When in doubt, trust the *#06# check over any list.

Not on the list?
The list can't keep up with every regional model. If *#06# shows an EID and the phone is unlocked, it will work — the check beats the list.
